Dan Proctor of Goblinoid Games announced the imminent release of "Realms of Crawling Chaos" -- Lovecraftian Dark Fantasy -- for Labyrinth Lord. Written with Michael Curtis, this Cthulhuesque supplement is also fully compatible with Mutant Future as well!
Contained within the tome's pages are:
- New player races from the works of H. P. Lovecraft, including white apes, white ape hybrids, sea blood, and subhumans...
- New spells...
- New monsters...
- New artifacts and a system for designing unique artifacts...
- Rules for psionics...
How mind-blasting cool is that? Imagine this: During the Ancient Times, the stars WERE right and The Great Old Ones ran rampant across the globe, spreading cosmic destruction as The Ancient World came to an end. Bombs filled with radiation and poisons fell as humanity vainly fought back. Now, thousands of years later, twisted mutants roam this hellscape as Things Better Left Unsaid lurk in the ruinous shadows. The shattered remains of wondrous alien technology lay scattered across the landscape -- some still functional. Mind-bending psionics are wielded by the survivors. Deep Ones have slave camps along the edges of the Toxic Oceans, and Mi-Go watch from the mountaintops. And in the distance, a Great Old One picks through the ruins of a once great civilization.
The next time your Future Mutants complain about "yet another Vomit Fly," see how they fare against Nyarlathotep. That'll shut 'em up. "Realms of Crawling Chaos" is scheduled for release sometime in late winter.
